"THE NAVAJO BRUSH" Bronze, Edition of 30 21"x14"x11"
This sculpture pays tribute to an Indian culture that has inhabited the desert southwest from the fifteenth century to the present. The hand-made brush shown in the sculpture was a common accessory made using native prairie grasses. The peaceful serenity felt through this sculpture depicts a time of historical significance when the Navajo lived in undisturbed harmony with the wilderness landscape.
